Beets

Time to get those beets preserved.
I like the small ones, easier to cook
and peel.They are so nice to pull out
in the fall and winter.
My recipe:
4 qts beets
3 cups vinegar
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp. whole cloves
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. allspice
Break up a few pieces of cinnamon sticks
add to jars.
Process 20 min.
